Well another interesting month as this year passes in what seems an ever increasing blur! I started the month off in Queenstown, had a few frantic weeks working with the local museum before packing a heap of gear and hightailing up the South Island to Christchurch.
Heading to Christchurch was a great excuse to spend a night in the Lake Ohau lodge and revisit some of the places we walked a couple of years ago. Such a beautiful spot and only a couple of hours from our new home so we may need to get the tent out in summer!
I will definitely make one of my readers very happy this month as being at Ohau meant I could visit a river we know for some of those lovely soft water shots she enjoys so much :-)
Quite an eclectic mix of images this time around as I continue to play with a few photographic ideas.

Middle of the day looking across Lake Wakatipu

Some of the beautiful blossom in the Teviot Valley

High above Lye Bow Lake, beautiful walk with amazing views for our coffee

Stunning views in Central Otago

Not sure why but this month had plenty of moments when rivers and lakes were perfectly still

Just like last year when we first moved into our new house the mist was rising from the river most mornings

My favourite view

The Clutha River appears to be running very low, doesn't seem to be concerning the locals though

Some of my surreal work

Pure New Zealand

Flowing water around Lake Ohau by special request

Some more of the river flow

A lovely waterfall by Lake Ohau

The long and winding road from Lake Ohau to Christchurch, can't complain with scenery like that!

A very photogenic calf

It's been a while since I last saw the sea so it was great to go for a wander while in Christchurch

Driftwood on Waikuku Beach

Kiwi's are made of tough stuff.....they career around in muddy puddles and slides on a Sunday for fun......amazingly she got up laughing away and ran on to the next obstacle!

Probably not wise to wear your best shoes ;-)

The clocks sprung forward in New Zealand this month so thought I'd mark the occasion with something a little different.
